About Us

For the last few years we have tried to make better choices at home with the products we use. Our aim started off by reducing plastic packaging. We started in the bathroom, one product at a time. As something ran out we looked for better options to replace it with a plastic free versions. As we started looking, we found lots of great alternatives for mainstream supermarket products that come in lots of plastic packaging.

What we then found was that many of the new products we tried were better for us. Less chemicals, more natural, and better for both us and the environment. Something that started as a few swaps has grown into bigger changes in our buying choices and routines, all of which are now part of everyday life in our home.

When you look around your home and see how much plastic there is, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start. This is why we founded Drift and Dwell, to create a place where you can come to, and find great alternatives to products you use every day. Our advice is simple. Start small, swap a few things at a time. As things run out let us help you find better alternatives.

We are an independent company based in Lancashire. We are starting our store with a collection of hand picked items that we know you will love. We will keep adding new and exciting ranges as we grow. We would love you to come on the journey with us.
