Our Story

For the last few years we have tried to be better at home with the types of products we use. Our aim started off by reducing plastic packaging. We started in the bathroom, one product at a time. As something finished we would look for better options to replace it with a plastic free version. As we started looking we found lots of great alternatives for supermarket/ mainstream products that come in lots of plastic packaging.

What we then went on to find is that in so many of the new products we were trying, they were better for us. Less chemicals, more natural and better for both us and the environment. Something that started as a few swaps has grown into bigger changes in our buying choices and routines, all of which are now normal fixtures in our home.

When you look around your home and see how much plastic it can feel overwhelming to try and make changes to reduce it. This is why we founded Drift and Dwell, our aim is to create a place that you can come to, where you can find great alternatives to products you use all around your home. My advice is start small, swap a few things at a time. As things run out let us help you find better alternatives.

We are an independent company based in Lancashire. We are starting our store with a collection of hand picked items that we know you will love. We will keep adding new and exciting ranges as we grow. We would love you to come on the journey with us.
